Jahan was Mirra's husband. He was the father of Lis, Darin, and Laia.

Jahan had the opposite disposition as his wife. He was always in the background, drawing, planning, and thinking. He was brilliant, kind, and serene.
Physical Description[]
Jahan looked a lot like his daughter Laia. He had unruly midnight black hair, gold eyes, high cheekbones, and full unsmiling lips.
Biography[]
Jahan and Mirra were leaders of the Resistance. They were the best of the group and after their deaths the Resistance struggled. Jahan, Mirra, and Lis were betrayed to the Commandant. She captured them and tortured them. Mirra eventually killed Jahan and Lis to end their suffering and to keep them from revealing anything. Laia was five when her family was killed.
Jahan and Mirra left the Resistance when Lis was four years old. Mirra was pregnant with Darin and they wanted a normal life for their children. They disappeared, leaving no trail or trace. Darin was born and then Laia was two years later. When the Empire began coming down hard on the Resistance and it began crumbling, they could no longer sit back. They left Darin and Laia with Mirra's parents when they were six and four respectively, taking Lis with them. They were betrayed and died a year later.
Laia remembers how Jahan would smoke a pipe of tobacco as he drew pictures of efrits and wights for her.
