Nightweed is an illegal poison that even Masks are not allowed to use.

Nightweed was outlaws a century ago, after it was used to assassinate the Emperor of the Martial Empire. Any amount is deadly, but in higher doses it kills swiftly. In lower doses the only symptom of the poison is severe seizures.
The Commandant uses Nightweed to poison Elias Veturius. She gave him a low dose by slicing him with a poisoned dagger before letting him go.
